CAN I MIX FEED BREAST & BOTTLE? It is perfectly fine to mix feeds;not only does it allow the fathers to feed and then bond with their baby but it also lets the mother catch up on sleep. It's a good idea to give one bottle in a 24 hour period - that way when you change over to bottle feeding it is much easier.
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF MY BABY CRIES?This is the only form of communication has so he/she will cry for all sorts of reasons: babies cry if there are hungry, tired, windy, uncomfortable, bored or just need a cuddle. As time goes by you will recognise and understand the different cries.
WHEN CAN I BATH MY BABY?Babies do not get very dirty so it's not necessary to bath every day, just top and tail instead.When the cord has dropped off you can bath every day, perhaps as part of a 'time-for bed' routine. Bath time is a great opportunity for fathers and their baby to bond & give mothers time off.
